Earl Weygandt collection, 1918-1919.

Letters written by Earl Weygandt to his girl friend, Florence Shafer in Warren, Ohio. Weygandt was a clarinet player in the U.S. Army Band during World War I. The correspondence began in August, 1918 when Earl was in the United States waiting to be deployed, and follows his travels to military bases in France. He describes the cities he is in and his accommodations.
